Live Album launch
Niall was joined by Brian Dunning for the “Launch Gigs” due to the unavailability of Kevin Shields and Greg Boland stood in for Jimmy Faulkner for the Dundalk launch.

Comhrá na dTonn
The album Comhrá na dTonn, featuring Dan Healy, Ciarán Ó Raghallaigh, Máire Garvey, Seán Garvey and others and produced by Niall will be launched in The Cobblestones, Dublin on Thursday June 26th.

Up and Coming
Niall will be joining fiddle player Mairéad Nesbitt and her band for some European dates in July and August. Check out her website on www.maireadnesbitt.com.

Also in August, Niall will be in studio with Cello player and composer Neil Martin to work on Neil’s new album.

Pre-production on a new band project with Niall, Mairéad Nesbitt, uilleann piper John O’Brien and keyboard player Gavin Murphy will be commencing later in the year.

Musicians Union of Ireland
At long last a representative body for musicians, has been set up in Ireland. Greg Boland was elected president of the MUI and John Swift is permanent secretary. Having sat for a while on the Freelance Professional Musicians Committee, Niall was selected to chair the Interim Committee of the Traditional Musicians Section.
